Living Your Best Life

Have you ever felt like you were standing on Holy ground? Perhaps in a cathedral or a church? Possibly, out in nature? Early morning on a mountain, surrounded by the glorious natural world that God created, it’s difficult for me to image that anyone could experience it and not feel as though they were on Holy ground.

‭Exodus 3:5 NASB1995‬
[5] Then He said, “Do not come near here; remove your sandals from your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground.” (https://bible.com/bible/100/exo.3.5.NASB1995)

I was blessed to live in Northern New Mexico for a number of years with my late husband. There were many weekends that we would load up the dog and the camping gear and head out. Lying under a carpet of stars, seeing bats chasing insects in the dark; hearing the occasional owl, how can you not know that God exists and created our world? Waking to the hushed sounds of the mountains and forest, often with remnants of fog creeping away, just imbues a sense of the Holy God. And for me, there is absolutely nothing that tastes better than that first cup of coffee, brewed over the campfire!

God has given us an incredible planet to live and thrive on. We are blessed!

‭Genesis 1:29-31 NASB1995‬
[29] Then God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you; [30] and to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the sky and to every thing that moves on the earth which has life, I have given every green plant for food”; and it was so. [31] God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day. (https://bible.com/bible/100/gen.1.29-31.NASB1995)
