Due to recent upheavals in my life, I am doing things to simplify my life. Letting Jesus back into my life; having Him do a sweep of all the closed parts of my heart and cleaning out the junk feelings and emotions. This is the first, and most important, part of simplifying our lives. Without a clean heart, a simplified heart, how can we do the same in our physical lives?

To simplify my life, I have been going through boxes and closets, taking carloads to the Salvation Army, gifting to others, recycling what I can, and throwing away the rest. Putting superfluous items on For Sale boards, and taking what’s left and rearranging so that there is room to breathe. I’m not done, yet.

Ah, liberation. Thank You, Jesus, for helping me simplify my life!
