Where is God while all these bad things are happening to me?
Do you believe that He is always beside you, or do you feel like you have been deserted by God? Look at this story of the disciples. They were actually in the physical presence of the LORD, and they still were afraid.
“And there arose a fierce gale of wind, and the waves were breaking over the boat so much that the boat was already filling up. Jesus Himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion; and they woke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?” And He got up and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Hush, be still.” And the wind died down and it became perfectly calm. And He said to them, “Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith?” ” Mark 4:37-40 NASB
“And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life? But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:27, 33 NASB
I worry, and I know that by spending so much time and energy in my life worrying, I have taken time off my life. That time is gone, never to be retrieved; wasted time and wasted breath. Trust in the LORD. Believe that through Him, and because of Him, all things will work together for good. Not for just anyone, but for those who love the LORD. (Romans 8:28)
